Massage Therapy Services

Swedish Massage

Experience the classic relaxation of Swedish massage. This gentle yet effective technique uses long, flowing strokes to calm the nervous system, improve circulation, and reduce muscle tension, leaving you feeling refreshed and serene.

Deep Tissue Massage

Target chronic muscle pain and stiffness with deep tissue massage. This therapy focuses on the deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue, using sustained pressure to release knots and promote profound relief.

Note: This modality is contraindicated for guests that are on blood thinners.

Hot Stone Massage

Indulge in the soothing warmth of hot stone massage. Smooth, heated stones are placed on specific points of your body and used in conjunction with massage strokes to melt away tension, ease muscle stiffness, and promote deep relaxation.

Note: This modality is contraindicated for guests who are cardiac patients and guests who are on blood thinners.

Cupping

Cupping therapy is an ancient form of alternative medicine in which silicone cups are placed on your skin to create suction. It is effective at breaking up scar tissue and adhesions because it promotes increased blood flow, relaxation, and healing in the areas being treated.

Note: This therapy is contraindicated for guests who are on blood thinners.

Reiki

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that promotes healing. It is administered by a healer laying hands on or hovering them over the receiver.

The word "reiki" comes from Japanese kanji which are ideograms used in the written language of Japan. "Rei" is a higher level of spiritual consciousness and "Ki" is life energy or the universal life energy. In scientific terms, ki is referred to as "biofield energy."

Reiki provides healing by restoring balance to the flow of a person's energy (ki). When the normal flow of ki is interrupted, the normal functioning of organs and tissues in the physical body can also be diminished. Reiki is effective at restoring the healthy flow of ki because it removes byoki (unhealthy ki) that is often the result of negative thoughts or feelings. Byoki diminishes the vital function of organs and tissues by attaching itself to them.

When a person receives a Reiki session, the Rei or spiritually conscious part of the energy assesses where the person has byoki and then directs the healing energy, usually to the byoki that is nearest to the practitioner's hands. However, it will sometimes go to the byoki that is most in need of healing even if it is far from the practitioner's hands.

Note: There are no known side effects of Reiki. This modality is safe for all guests.

Note: The Logo is the Registered Service Mark of the International Center for Reiki Training.

The Japanese kanji in the center of the logo means Reiki (spiritually guided life energy). The upward pointing triangle represents humanity moving toward God. The downward- pointing triangle represents God moving toward humanity. Because the two triangles are united and balanced, they represent humanity and God working together in harmony. The inner sixteen-pedaled flower symbolizes the throat chakra or communication. The outer twelve-petaled flower symbolizes the heart chakra or love. The complete logo represents Reiki, uniting God and humanity in harmony through the communication of love.
